ENET provides a compute cluster:
- 80 nodes with 24 processors (two CPUs with 12 cores each)
- 32G memory
- AMD Opteron 6344 processor
- Operating system is Centos 7
- Managed by the Slurm scheduler
- User home directories are cluster-designated space and not regular ENET home directories
- If you have a Project directory, it should be available on the login nodes
- We provide a large and high-performance ephemeral scratch disk space at /scratch.hyperion (This space is not backed up and contents may be removed after a time.)
Jobs can be scheduled via a login node:
- For SSH login from within the ENET network:
- hyperion-login-1.enet.umn.edu
- hyperion-login-2.enet.umn.edu
- For remote GUI logins via web (from within the University network), use:
Request access from ENET. Once you have access, use your ENET userid and password. (You may use an SSH key rather than password if you wish.)
